Amy Glover Martin: Artist

I began my art career as a healing from the loss of my mother. Previously I had been an Environmental Graphic designer. Moving into Interior Design, using my 16 years of study of Feng Shui with Professor Lin Yun, to help clients achieve a healthy and peaceful environment. A trip to France with Marie Gabrielle’s watercolor workshop awakened the artist in me. My paintings are inspired from travel, my love of nature, and my local home on the Monterey Bay.

My works are in many private collections in Europe and the USA. I’ve received many acknowledgments and awards from Best of the Central Coast in Watercolor, Honorable Mention in Bodega Bay’s Fisherman’s Festival, numerous awards from Santa Cruz Art League, Santa Cruz Fair, and Award of Excellence from Galleria Elegante, Willow Glen, CA.

I am a Signature member of International Association of Acrylic Painters, Member of Pastel Society of the West Coast, Member of the Santa Cruz Art League.

I make a limited edition of Giclée's. Call for information on sizes available that will fit into a standard sized frame.

What is a Giclée?

The word Giclée (jhee-clay) is from the French verb to spray. It is the way the printer heads spray high resolution ink onto the paper or canvas to create a rich archival reproduction of the original. I work with the print maker to assure that it exactly matches my painting. The paper and canvas are also archival, meaning their colors will last for 45-165 years.

Giclée prints are accepted in museums and galleries around the world.
